0-1 years: Our baby room is specially developed to cater for babies from 0-1 years old. It’s a very calming and relaxing space yet still lends itself to be stimulating and bright for your baby’s development. Our staff will follow the routine already established by you for your baby, following the routine for eating and sleeping to ensure that your baby gets exactly what they need.
Your baby’s development will be encouraged by various equipment suited to their stage of development, lots of sensory based activities including time spent in our sensory room, musical activities and physical play. We sing and read to the children every day and offer lots of cuddles for comfort.
Using our reporting app will allow you to see everything your child is doing throughout the day, giving you peace of mind knowing your little one is being well cared for.
1-2 years: Our Fledgling age group is the next stage of progression for your child. By now your little one is up on their feet and very inquisitive about their surroundings. Our fledgling room is designed and equipped to meet all your child’s developmental needs. Their day will include activities such as arts and crafts, singing, sand and water play, playdough, music and movement and much more. The children will also get to play outside each day in their very own part of the garden which also has a section covered to allow for all weather play.
At this stage we get the children into a more structured sleep routine and get gently sooth them over to sleep on their own sleep mat between 12-2pm.
2 - 3 years: Our Toddler room is specially designed for our 2-3year olds. It’s bright and colourful and offers a wide variety of activities including construction play, role play and table top activities. In the messy play area the children can enjoy activities a such as cookery, play dough, sand & water and painting. All activities meet the stages and developmental needs of all the children.
Potty training is an essential part of the children’s development in this age group and we work closely with parents to ensure a smooth easy transition from nappy to toilet.
We have a large garden at the front of the house which Toddlers have access to twice a day. It’s fully equipped with ride on toys, climbing frames and outdoor kitchens to allow for more imaginative play outdoors.
Like all our other rooms you will have access to our reporting app to see what your child has been doing throughout the day giving you peace of mind while you are at work.
3 - 5 years: Children start to understand their bodies and emotions more and play is even more important as this is how they learn to explore their feelings. They will use imaginative play, enjoy playing in small groups and will be fascinated by the world around them. This also means a lot more who, what and why questions... in fact, on average a 4-year-old child asks 437 questions a day!
P1 - P3 children are now much more independent and will become more daring. They need lots of physical activity and enjoy sporting or team games. They will thrive from having boundaries and realistic expectations.
